Andrew Mandelbaum is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Lionheart Strategic Management. Andrew oversees the structuring and formation of the firm’s investment vehicles, advises on engagement with the firm’s institutional capital partners and provides legal, regulatory and compliance advice to the firm and its affiliated investment funds, their portfolio companies, as well as helps to lead the firm’s internal governance, fundraising and investor relations efforts.

Prior to joining Lionheart, Andrew was a member of the Private Funds groups at Proskauer Rose LLP and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he represented some of the markets leading private equity sponsors across a wide array of asset classes, industry verticals and transactions in connection with fund formation, structuring, fundraising, fund governance, investor negotiations and ongoing fund-related and regulatory compliance.

Andrew earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the New York University School of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy, cum laude, from Tulane University.
