Andy Klein is Managing Partner and Co-Head of Investments for Lionheart Strategic Management. Andy is responsible for and oversees all aspects of deal origination and asset management, as well as the operational aspects of Lionheart’s portfolio. Andy serves as a member of Lionheart’s Investment Committee. Andy is responsible for overseeing the origination of principal investments and deal capitalizations in high-yield structured transactions.  Prior to Lionheart, Andy worked at Colony NorthStar and its predecessor companies NorthStar Realty Finance Corp. and NorthStar Asset Management where he was directly involved in originating and/or underwriting of principal investments and capitalizations in senior loan, mezzanine loan, preferred equity and common equity transactions. Prior to NorthStar, Andy worked in research, analytics and financial product marketing at LPL Financial where he was Series 7 and Series 66 licensed. In 2023, Andy was selected as one of GlobeSt.com’s “CRE 50 under 40” and was again honored by the organization in 2024 as a “Rainmaker in CRE Debt, Equity and Finance.”  Andy received a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and a Masters of Science in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance and Investment from New York University.
